Facebook Leads Stink…

We’ve all heard it. Maybe you’ve even seen it for yourself. “Facebook Leads Stink!” How could we blame you for thinking that when 99% of the time it is the common outcome that business owners are lead to believe. The truth is, it isn’t your fault!

The real reason why business owners are led to believe that Facebook Leads Stink is because they are going about it the wrong way. It also doesn’t help that every vendor and their mother are out selling Facebook Leads to every dealer they come across. On top of that, most vendors just send you all of these leads and then let it up to you, the dealer, to do all the work with the leads to sell more cars.

In order to sell more cars to Facebook Leads you need to follow these 3 simple steps:

  1. Generate leads the right way.
  2. Never pre-judge Facebook Leads.
  3. Adapt.

Generate Leads the Right Way

Believe it or not, there is a way to generate leads the right way and there are ways to generate leads the wrong way…

The world is changing and forcing consumers to start buying products online. As good or bad as this may sound, most consumers still prefer to touch and feel a certain product before buying; especially with a product such as a vehicle. This is why, if generated the right way, Facebook Leads are perfect for the modern day car dealer. It doesn’t matter if you are a small used car lot or a new car franchise empire, this can work for you! Take advantage and sell more cars, the right way.

 

Never Pre-Judge Facebook Leads

We can’t blame you for thinking that Facebook Leads Stink, because they do. Wait… say whaaa? Yes, ALL INTERNET LEADS STINK if your follow up process is sub-par.  But, if implemented correctly, Facebook Leads can and will be one of the most profitable investments that your dealership has ever done.

I’ll let you in on a little secret nugget that most dealers and digital marketers aren’t aware of. Most Facebook Leads are in a different stage of the buying cycle. What I mean by this is that when people on Facebook decide to submit a lead to your dealership, they are not 100% sure on what kind of vehicle they want, for the most part. However, when you learn to generate leads the RIGHT WAY, you can collect leads in whichever stage of the buying cycle you want; which is a major key in succeeding with Facebook Leads for your dealership.

If you approach the beginning of the buying cycle leads as if they are in a DIFFERENT stage of the buying cycle, then it can throw them off and cause them to ghost you (ghost you=they disappear on all avenues of digital outreach) which is what you want to avoid at all costs.

So moral of this blog article section: Don’t pre-judge Facebook Leads because they might be in a different stage of the buying process as compared to 3rd party leads that the auto industry is used to.

 

Adapt

Yes. We must adapt. We hear it all the time however, 99% of car dealers are not going after Facebook Leads the correct way. This is both bad and good. Bad, because leads aren’t being led in the right direction. Good, because you, the one reading this, still have a HUGE opportunity available that is right in-front of you.
